We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the SaaS software sector. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving business growth and sales revenue across the assigned region. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of IT software and services, a proven track record of sales leadership, and the ability to build and nurture strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the assigned region.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and performance objectives.
- Work closely with senior management to align sales efforts with corporate goals and initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities and key accounts, both within existing client bases and through new market penetration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SaaS software and services sector, focusing on building long-term client relationships and enhancing the company’s market position.
- Conduct high-level sales presentations, demos, and proposals for senior decision-makers in target accounts.
- Manage and drive the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including contract negotiation and renewal strategies.
- Provide leadership to the regional sales team, driving a culture of accountability, motivation, and high performance.
- Set individual and team performance goals, tracking and reporting on sales metrics and KPIs.
- Mentor and develop sales talent, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Ensure a deep understanding of client needs and tailor solutions that drive customer success and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the customer support and technical teams to ensure a seamless sales-to-delivery process.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the SaaS software and services sector.
- Provide feedback on market needs and customer pain points, shaping product and service offerings.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of key industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
- Analyze regional sales data and adjust strategies accordingly to meet or exceed targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT sales or technology software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in managing and growing sales teams in a competitive IT sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and solutions, including ERP, Safety or Logistics products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Willingness to travel as needed internationally.
