Job Description
As a conveyancer, the candidate is responsible for handling the legal aspect of the entire conveyancing process whilst assuring that all KPI’s & SLAs for the process is handled to ensure the smooth progression of the case from the time of allocation to the completion of the case.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the technical/legal aspects of a case.
- Communicate with the clients and other stakeholders via email and telephone in a timely manner according to the requirements of the firm’s SLAs.
- Take ownership of the case from beginning to end and be accountable to the client and other relevant stakeholders.
- Update the case tracker and be updated with regards to all cases managed.
- Liaise with the support departments to ensure a smooth and timely progression of cases.
- Attend weekly or Ad hoc meetings with the board of directors to discuss progress and process improvements and provide reports on special projects allocated with a view of improving the process.
Requirements:
- LLB qualification from a reputed university with or following attorneys.
- High proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Candidate should be detail-oriented, able to self-organize, able to work under pressure to meet essential deadlines, and flexible to change.
