They are on the lookout for a PowerBuilder Developer to work remotely for one of our partner companies based in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PowerBuilder applications.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement complex database schemes and develop SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with databases.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality and performance of applications.
• Optimize application performance through analysis and tuning.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest PowerBuilder features and best practices, applying them to improve existing processes.
• Assist in the migration of legacy PowerBuilder applications to newer versions or different platforms as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PowerBuilder developer, with a strong portfolio of developed applications.
• Proficient in PowerScript programming and understanding of PowerBuilder Foundation Classes (PFC).
• Experience with database design, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
