                                 We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team.
As the the Lead Specialist, you will perform and supervise all the Corporate Finance activities related to business analysis, regulatory & corporate reporting team of our company, under the direct supervision of the CFO of the company.
Business Planning & Budgeting:
- Annual Budget Preparation:
 - Maintaining and delivering annual budget format to respective Offices and Sales team.
 - Coordinating with all offices to compile budgets.
 - Submitting budget for review to CFO.
 - Work with Local Finance Teams to resolve queries and comments.
 - Coordinate with Corporate Affairs to obtain approval from BoD.
 - Monitoring the Budget Achievement:
 - Monthly review and analysis of actual performance with budget for all Offices.
 - Coordinate variance analysis and adjust forecast to ensure budget is accurate and appropriate.
 - Quarterly review and budget updates, if necessary, based on actual performance and forecast.
 
Business Analysis and Control:
- Drafting and implementation of strategic business plans and SOPs.
 - Advising Country Finance Leads/Country Finance Teams on compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and SOPs.
 - Review and/or prepare monthly consolidated balance sheet reconciliations.
 - Ensure appropriate up-to-date internal controls are in place regarding consolidations and financial reporting.
 
Management Reporting:
- Preparing consolidated flash reporting to CFO by 6th day of each month.
 - Prepare monthly standalone and consolidated financial statements to CFO by 10th day of each month.
 - Preparing Group Performance report (Group Profitability).
 - Key Financial Analysis (KFA).
 - Review and Submission of Quarterly Financial Performance Presentation Slide for Board Reporting.
 - Meeting with executive team on Quarterly Business Presentation.
 
External Financial Reporting:
- Own the quarter-end and annual consolidation and financial reporting process by successful delivery of quarterly financial statements.
 - Preparation of quarterly and annual stand alone and consolidated Financial Statements.
 - Own the annual external audit process and liaise with external auditors on audit issue resolution and completion.
 - Prepare quarterly financial reporting updates noting any changes in IFRS guidance and requirements.
 - Develop and maintain financial reporting templates and tools to be used to improve the communication of information and financial transparency from respective offices.
 - Perform accounting research and draft memos on significant accounting matters.
 - Participate in special projects, ad hoc reporting, acquisition, and divestiture analysis.
 
Compliance of Internal Policies and External Regulations:
- Ensure compliance of all internal policies and regulatory requirements related to Financials Statements.
 
Personal Development and Growth:
- Become the lead resource for financial analysis and variance reporting (versus prior year and budget) for the consolidated Group and its subsidiaries and associates.
 - Become the key point of contact within the corporate finance team for inquiries on corporate policies and financial reporting requirements.
 - Oversee corporate accounting function.
 - Collaborate with operational finance contacts and I.T. to continuously drive improvements.
 
Requirements:
- Should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant.
 - Possess a BBA & MBA from top ranking University.
 - Possess CA (CC) from big 4 Audit firms.
 - Strong understanding of IFRS/IAS/ISA and accounting principles.
 - Conducting training on IFRS/IAS/ISA/Leadership/Business Communications, etc.
 - MS Office and Advanced Excel.
 - Power Point Presentations.
 - Good command of basic taxation laws and regulatory affairs.
 - Strong communication skills (Both written & oral in English).
 - Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment across multiple countries - strong interpersonal skills.
 - Excellent analytical skills.
 - At least 5 years of industry experience.
 - At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
