Our US client is on the lookout for a talented AI Engineer / Data Scientist to join their growing team in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI/ML models focusing on multivariate forecasting and anomaly detection based on factors in disparate datasets.
• Train and fine-tune commercial and open-source models using GenAI techniques.
• Work with LangChain or similar technologies to enhance model capabilities.
• Fine-tune hyperparameters to optimize model performance.
• Build, test and deploy solutions on cloud-native environments.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop data-driven solutions for enterprise clients.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of industry experience in Data Science / ML / AI domains.
• Expertise with transformers for multivariate time-series forecasting and anomaly detection based on factors in disparate datasets.
• Expertise in training and fine-tuning commercial and open-source models using GenAI techniques.
• Proficiency with LangChain or similar technologies.
• Strong Skills in fine-tuning hyperparameters for optimal model performance.
• Experience with vector databases (added advantage).
• Ability to build, tune, deploy and manage models on multiple platforms / clouds (added advantage).
• Experience handling large data sets with data processing libraries, ideally in a production environment (added advantage).
• Familiarity with FinOps and financial data platforms (added advantage).
• Excellent spoken and written English skills to work together with the onsite team in the US.
