Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components using a variety of welding techniques. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of welding processes, safety standards, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Welding Operations: Execute welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Arc, and Stick welding based on project requirements. Weld steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals. Blueprint and Technical.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to plan and execute welding jobs accurately.
• Fabrication and Assembly: Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to project specifications. Use cutting, grinding, and finishing tools to prepare workpieces.
• Equipment Maintenance: Set up and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery. Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of equipment and perform necessary repairs or report malfunctions.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds to ensure they meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate and high-quality welds.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company and industry safety standards and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• O’ level or equivalent or a technical or vocational certification in welding is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, etc.).
• Experience working with different metals, such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with welding tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
