Job Description
Responsible for supporting Assistant Manager Procurement (CMB), implementing Procurement Process to Procure production related service including manpower contracts, heavy machinery contracts & maintenance contracts to production plants within the estimated time, at the right price, from the right source for smooth functioning of the Plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform procures process for labor contracts, heavy machinery contracts & Maintenance contracts for; PCW plant production, PCW Ecocycle activities, Limestone Quarry services, RCW plant production, Ecocycle RRC & PPF activities, RMX plant activities, MMCT plant activities.
- Maintain Compliance with Procurement Policies & Procedures (P&P) at vendor selection considering factors of Organization Efficiency, Quality, Delivery, and Customer service.
- Review Suppliers & Service Providers’ Performances & Compliance.
- Creation of Annual orders following Contract conditions & communication to users & vendors.
- Keep Internal Customer satisfaction & Vendor relationship management.
- Contribution to Complicit Management between user & vendor.
- Promote and contribute to OH&S targets.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Challenges:
- Provide skill and competent vendors for production related activities.
- Purchase required supplies to meet the budget while considering TCO (Total cost of ownership).
- Obtain accurate specifications, schedule, safety plan engineering estimate from users.
- Get on time respond to RFQ/RFP (Request for quotation/proposal) from vendors.
- Keep good relationship with different type of vendors to get supply when required to the operation.
- Contribution to develop vendor suppliers & service providers for business operation needs with required competencies, skills and compliance.
- Maintain updated user-friendly supply & service order follow up Tool (Excel file) to provide latest information to users.
- Follow Procurement policy & procedures while facing to internal & external influences.
- Get user contribution to advance clearing & PO closing.
- Educate 3P employees and end users for new system changes.
- Handle claims / LDs.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Degree/ Diploma in Engineering/ Physical Science /Commerce /General Management/ Material & Inventory Management/ Working at procurement over 3 year.
- 1-year working experience in cement or other heavy manufacturing industry.
- 2-year experience of procurement.
- Experience in SAP MM module.
- Knowledge in SAP ERP system.
- Good in interpersonal business relationship.
- Local Labour law.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
