Job Description
We are a a 5-star hotel located at Dhiffushi. A local island close to the International Airport, which can be reached within 45 minutes via speedboat or within 2 hours by ferry. A one-of-a-kind island beach hotel with an infinity pool, roof top restaurant, inhouse wellness & spa center, Kid’s Club, Water sports & dive center and a sunset beach. A brand which has been crafted and designed to provide a unique Maldivian cultural experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise F&B employees and their appearance, handles scheduling, enforcing policies, procedures & standards.
- Take orders, serves food and drinks, answer inquiries about the menu and complies with the wishes of the guests, as well as suggestively selling food and drinks.
- Supervise the execution of and oversees all F&B operations, ensuring all standards of quality and service are met.
- Support training, monitoring and assigning duties for all subordinate staff.
- Maintain guest relations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handling guest complaints and concerns.
- Handling the store and responsible for restaurant stock rotation and inventory.
Requirements:
- Having minimum 05 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Diploma or Degree in management. Studied in hospitality management is an added advantage.
- Possess excellent customer service & upselling skills and commercial awareness.
- Capable to build great relationship with staff and customers.
- Ability to think out of box and have great problem solving skills.
- Must be resilient and high point of patience to challenges.
- Must be a good work planner.
- Must be inventive and multi-tasking.
- Must have pleasant behavior.
- Must be a good leader and at the same time a good team member.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in English.
