Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute growth strategies of the organization in line with market trends and opportunities.
• Present and secure board ratification from the board of all business and operational strategies.
• Establish the long-term frameworks governing the organization's values, business ethics and code of conduct to enhance the company's brand image.
• Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring alignment with objectives in terms of market share, cost-efficiency and profitability.
• Continously analyse the market for opportunities, formulating strategies to capitalise on emerging trends.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify and migitage business and operational risks.
• Represent the company in national an international forums, promoting the barnd and staying informed on industry developments.
• Ensure the organizational structure is flexible and designed to meet both short and long term goals.
• Implement strategies, in partnership with HR, to attract, retain and develop top talent.
• Lead negotiations for procurement of key materials and inputs, ensuring cost competitiveness.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and operational excellence across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Master's Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Membership in relevant engineering bodies (e.g. IESL, PE) (advantageous).
• Expertise in engineering project management, design principles and industry standards.
• Proven experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership, team management and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
