Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed MEP system designs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software for 2D/3D modeling and documentation.
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP designs with overall building plans.
• Ensure proper coordination between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to avoid conflicts.
• Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.), and project specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection.
• Assist in electrical load calculations, panel sizing, and lighting design.
• Design efficient plumbing and drainage systems.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), specifications, and material selection reports.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and design justifications.
• Provide design clarifications to site teams during execution.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or a related field).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system design.
• Understanding of international codes (ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, NFPA, etc.).
• Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.
