Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement MEP designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure MEP systems comply with project requirements, codes, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials, equipment, and technology for MEP installations.
• Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related technical issues on-site.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to maintain high standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, specifications, and progress updates.
• Review and approve MEP-related shop drawings and submittals.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as an MEP Engineer in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., LEED, PMP, or MEP-related credentials) is a plus.
