We are looking for a Global Sales Support Manager to oversee and optimize the sales support operations across our global sales teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes.
This role will focus on leading a team of sales professionals, while also personally contributing to revenue growth and driving collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of global sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Empower and Develop staff across 3 key function areas: Lead Generation, Tenders and Pre Sales.
- Develop, implement, and refine sales support processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and support sales targets across global regions.
- Lead and contribute to the achievement of global sales targets
- Oversee the coordination of day-to-day sales operations, ensuring smooth execution of processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the global sales team, assisting with contract management, quote generation, pricing, and proposal creation.
- Serve as a liaison between sales teams and other departments (e.g., marketing, legal, finance, and customer support) to ensure seamless sales execution.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of sales presentations, RFP responses, and contract negotiations as needed.
- Ensure sales teams are well-equipped with the necessary resources, knowledge, and tools to drive sales and customer engagement effectively.
- Coordinate sales support activities across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and alignment with global sales goals and strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with key sales leaders and teams to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored support.
- Work closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure accurate product information, sales collateral, and promotional materials are available to support sales efforts globally.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs for new sales support staff and provide ongoing training for existing team members on systems, tools, and best practices.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer and prospect data in CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and usability for sales teams.
- Implement and monitor processes to ensure timely updates of customer records and provide support in managing sales pipeline data.
- Manage the use of sales tools, platforms, and CRM systems, ensuring that they are leveraged to their full potential by the global sales teams.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools that can enhance the sales support function and recommend their adoption when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the global sales support function.
- Monitor industry trends and innovations to propose enhancements to sales support strategies and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations or sales support roles, with a proven track record of managing and improving global sales processes.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.), and sales analytics tools.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and regions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other business tools.
- Experience in a global or multi-regional sales environment is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
