Job Description
The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by independently managing the cybersecurity pre-sales process. This role bridges the gap between technical solutions and business needs, ensuring clients receive strategic guidance and technical expertise aligned with sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on cybersecurity solutions tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to drive business opportunities and close deals.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, demonstrating deep expertise in cybersecurity solutions.
- Develop and execute pre-sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Identify and assess customer needs to propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
- Support the sales cycle by responding to RFI (Request for Information), BOM (Bill of Material), and RFP (Request for Proposal).
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs of concept.
- Work closely with global sales and technical teams to qualify leads and design appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, sales processes, and methodologies.
- Ability to articulate value propositions and position solutions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales or related roles.
- Technical expertise in relevant cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
