Job Description
he Marketing Manager oversees team of Brand Managers and is responsible for leading marketing efforts to maximize brand performance, increase sales volumes and values, achieve strategic business goals and deliver the Brand/Category P&L. This role involves strategic oversight of various brands and coordination across multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive initiatives to deliver Revenue and Profitability of the Brand/Category.
- Lead and mentor a team of Brand Managers and Assistant Brand Managers.
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives and drive market share growth.
- Oversee market trend analysis and competitor surveillance to anticipate market needs and position the company advantageously.
- Foster innovation in marketing strategies and campaigns to effectively highlight the USPs of various brands.
- Manage and allocate budgets across multiple brands and marketing campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms by supervising the implementation of communication strategies.
- Direct coordination between sales, customer marketing to ensure optimal brand presence and performance.
- Oversee partnerships with external agencies, including advertising, PR, and digital agencies, to ensure top-tier execution of marketing activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions to enhance future campaigns.
- Consistently deliver the defined consumer value
- Identify and develop the right GTM for the category/brand along with Customer Marketing.
- Conduct and lead high-level meetings and presentations with senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA
- Professional certifications in marketing such as CIM are highly regarded.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in marketing management, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven track record of successful brand management and team leadership.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
- Extensive experience with cross-functional team collaboration and external agency management.
