Job Description
The Assistant Brand Manager supports the Brand Manager in developing strategies to enhance the brand equity of company products/brands. This role involves assisting with the planning and execution of strategies to increase sales volume and value, strengthen brand identity, and grow market share.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of 2-3 brands under the guidance of the Brand Manager.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies for assigned brands in line with sales & marketing objectives.
- Help monitor market trends and competitor activities to understand consumer behavior and support strategy development.
- Collaborate creatively on brand strategies to effectively communicate the USPs of the brands.
- Assist with budget management and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer marketing to ensure effective communication strategies are implemented according to company standards.
- Support Brand Manager in liaising with Advertising agencies to execute 360 degree activities.
- Help manage promotional inventories and PR and digital plans for the brands.
- Work with various agencies to ensure delivery of high-quality brand support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- CIM qualification is advantageous but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, with exposure to brand management.
- Experience in FMCG is preferred.
- Background in advertising or market research is beneficial.
