Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Complete estimates independently for company bids and projects.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Deliver accurate and quality submissions for bids.
- Attention to detail in reviewing tender documentation and making accurate allowances.
- Deliver and manage tenders within tight deadlines.
- Estimating Design and construct tenders.
- Estimating across a number of disciplines including Electrical Construction, Fit-out, and Communications.
- Comply with internal policies and procedures.
- Live the company values.
Requirements:
- Electrical trade, Quantity Surveyor and/or electrical engineering qualifications (essential).
- At least 5 years’ experience in previous estimating position in the electrical industry.
- Experience in using estimating software and spreadsheets (preferred).
- Strong communication skills with a good command in English language.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy over long periods.
- Experience with prioritizing and meeting deadlines with short notice.
- Commitment to work the required hours to complete thorough estimates while meeting deadlines.
