Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to oversee the entire Procurement and Warehouse Operations ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness and adherence to industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract management, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Review and approve purchase orders (POs), goods receipt notes (GRNs) and supplier contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
• Monitor and enhance ERP system functionality to improve procurement and warehouse operations, ensuring transparency, accuracy and efficiency in inventory tracking and supplier management.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives, conduct market research and analyze purchasing trends to optimize procurement decisions while minimizing financial and operational risks.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, space utilization and adherence to safety and compliance standards while preventing overstocking or shortages.
• Develop and enforce procurement and warehouse policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in consultation with management, ensuring regulatory and company-wide compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet business needs and liaise with government authorities on procurement and warehouse-related administrative functions.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement Management or a related field.
• A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and financial skills to assess data, identify cost-saving opportunities and drive strategic decision making.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
