Job Description
The Rostering Coordinator is responsible for maximizing the engagement, allocation and utilization of the company's casual workforce across a diverse range of service areas.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and develop rosters across various services, including both planned and responsive shifts.
- Identify and assess employee availability, capability, and suitability to effectively match resources to business requirements, maximizing utilization.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and respond to business resourcing needs.
- Respond to all shift requests within agreed service level timeframes.
- Support payroll functions by verifying timesheet accuracy and requesting necessary approvals.
- Conduct regular check-ins with temporary staff to ensure ongoing engagement and availability.
- Build sustainable relationships to increase engagement, utilization, and retention rates.
- Analyze operational processes and customer feedback to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate roster information within designated systems to keep relevant parties informed.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate availability.
- Conduct regular audits on compliance documentation, follow up on outstanding items and tickets, and report back to the team.
- Collate relevant information as required for payroll and monthly reports.
- Provide general administrative support to the rostering and casuals team.
Experience Required:
- Highly desirable rostering, recruitment or scheduling experience.
- Accurate data entry skills and experience.
- Organized and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Good customer service skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent communication, the ability to work well in a team environment and independently and proactively.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- A positive "can do" attitude.
- Exceptional time management and ability to handle competing workloads.
- Be creative by nature, where problem-solving and thinking outside the square comes easily to you;
- Be able to pick up processes and procedures in an efficient manner.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
