Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the national sales team to achieve company sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with brand goals.
- Manage distributor networks and ensure strong field execution across all regions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the management on sales performance.
- Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with brand campaigns.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- A degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. MBA or professional qualifications (e.g. CIM/SLIM) will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG landscape, distribution models, and channel management in Sri Lanka.
- Proven leadership and team management ability.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical thinking with a result-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
