Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Process Automation and AI (Sri Lanka & Maldives) to drive the adoption of automation and AI solutions among enterprise clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging clients to understand their automation and AI needs, and positioning these solutions as key enablers of digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, expertise in selling automation platforms (such as RPA, AI-driven solutions, Conversational AI solutions, and business process automation), and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to maximize client success.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Process Automation and AI solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, prospecting, solution presentation, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Identify and onboard suitable partners to expand market reach in Sri Lanka & Maldives.
- Manage and nurture existing partner relationships to ensure long-term collaboration.
- Enable partners by facilitating training, resources, and ongoing support through technical teams.
- Conduct client meetings to understand their business processes, automation challenges, and AI needs.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations showcasing automation and AI capabilities along with the Pre- Sales/Technical team.
- Work closely with Pre-Sales and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and adoption.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive customer and partner acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Oversee and manage the renewal pipeline of existing customers to ensure continued partnerships and revenue retention.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through ongoing engagement and support for key accounts.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as CIMA, SLIM, CIM, CMA, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the Automation, AI, SaaS, or cloud solutions industry.
- Proven track record of selling Process Automation, AI-driven solutions, RPA, or similar enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of RPA, AI-driven solutions, Workflow Automation, and Business Process Optimization.
