Our client is the largest nationwide provider of surveillance and video-based loss prevention services for restaurant space, and they are expanding its web development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development, customizations, integrations, and the ability to provide solutions to business requirements using Salesforce best practices. You will work closely with our business teams to develop and implement new Salesforce features, optimize existing ones, and help maintain a high level of data integrity across the platform. You should be able to easily translate our business requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications.

As part of the integration team, they work with internal web applications written primarily in Python, NodeJS, Vue.JS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML, which will require modifications and enhancements to existing applications as well as construction, testing and deployment of new applications.

As part of the interview process, applicants are expected to submit a link to a functional demo of an app they built as well as provide samples of code from that application. Applications demonstrating use of vendor APIs, finely tuned data schemas &cloud environment deployments are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations.
• Familiarity with data management, SOQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Salesforce automation tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules
• Analyze and debug existing code to correct errors and improve performance. Ability to trace / follow included dependencies within code.
• Consult with DevOps and Engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements.

Minimum Skills & Qualification Required:

• 5+ Years in a backend development role.
• 3+ Years in development of Restful API’s.
• 3+ Years of Salesforce development.
• Knowledge of Apex, LWC, JavaScript, Vue.JS, NodeJS , TypeScript, Python.
• Experience of JSON, XML formats.
• Experience of Git and GitHub Version Control.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• CSS SASS/SCSS/LESS.
• MySQL, MS SQL, AWS RedShift.
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks.
• Knowledge of Microservice Architecture.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence.
• Knowledge of SaaS providers (Salesforce & Zendesk).
• UI / UX Design.
• AWS experience.
