Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the end-to-end execution of UAE corporate governance, immigration compliance, and payroll processing for UAE-based employees. This includes preparing monthly payroll reports, ensuring adherence to UAE labor and tax regulations, facilitating visa and work permit procedures with the relevant authorities, and overseeing corporate compliance requirements.
The role further supports corporate governance tasks, employee onboarding, assignment tracking, and the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records across payroll and mobility systems. By collaborating with internal departments, external vendors, and government entities, the candidate contributes to delivering a compliant, efficient, and seamless experience for the organization’s workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end corporate compliance activities for UAE mainland and free zone entities, including company incorporation, trade license renewals, structural amendments, UBO declarations, statutory reporting, and coordination with relevant authorities.
- Prepare, update, and maintain all corporate legal documentation, such as incorporation papers, shareholder registers, board/shareholder resolutions, and statutory records, ensuring alignment with UAE legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the operational and administrative aspects of entity governance, including regulatory filings, bank account openings, and accurate record-keeping, covering all stages of a business’s formation, operation, and ongoing compliance.
- Coordinate end-to-end UAE immigration processes including employment visa applications, renewals, cancellations, Emirates ID issuance, medical testing, and dependent visa arrangements, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- Calculate monthly gross-to-net salaries for UAE-based employees, including fixed pay, variable elements (bonuses, overtime), deductions, and end-of-service benefits, in accordance with employment contracts and UAE labor laws.
- Compile and reconcile monthly payroll reports for review and submission to finance, ensuring data integrity and alignment with internal accounting and statutory requirements.
- Fulfill UAE-specific payroll obligations such as WPS uploads, GOSI contributions for GCC nationals, leave salary accruals, gratuity provisioning, and final settlements for leavers.
- Serve as a point of contact for UAE payroll-related questions, pay slip clarifications, visa processing timelines, and related mobility inquiries.
- Track payroll cut-off dates, visa expirations, corporate deadlines, and reporting timelines to ensure timely action and avoid non-compliance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance corporate, payroll and immigration procedures, contribute to policy updates, and support internal or external stakeholder requirements in other service lines.
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Company Secretary or equivalent.
- Background in global mobility/immigration support; preference will be given to candidates with experience at Top 5 global accounting or auditing firms and / or ideally within the UAE or GCC.
- Understanding of UAE employment regulations, visa/work permit procedures, and relevant free zone and mainland authority processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Proficient in corporate compliance, legal drafting, policy analysis, and legal research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, or global mobility administration, preferably within consulting firms or in-house legal, finance, tax, or shared services departments in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of company laws and regulatory frameworks, including experience with Company incorporation, amendments to corporate structure, license renewals, UBO declarations, notarizations and attestation of legal documents.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining statutory registers, drafting board/shareholder resolutions, reviewing standard legal templates, coordination’s with authorities
- Skilled in managing UAE immigration processes, including visa applications, work permit renewals, cancellations, Emirates ID processing, and liaising with authorities and government portals.
- Hands-on involvement in UAE payroll support activities, including assisting with payroll input preparation, WPS file generation, leave and gratuity calculations, and basic reconciliation tasks.
- Basic understanding of UAE labor law and payroll-related compliance requirements, including WPS, GOSI (for GCC nationals), and end-of-service benefits; willingness and ability to quickly learn global mobility frameworks.
- Proven ability in dealing with payroll reconciliations, using MS Excel and, where applicable, available AItools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Exposure to HR systems, payroll software, and UAE government portals, with strong MS Office skills—especially Excel—for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting purposes.
