Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization. As a technology-driven ERP solutions provider, we require a dynamic individual who can ensure robust financial management, maintain strong relationships with banks, partners, and investors, and play a pivotal role in driving growth through sound financial planning and capital-raising initiatives. The CFO will work closely with the Board of Directors and senior management team to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in line with business objectives.
- Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning to ensure sustainable growth.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to the Board and senior management.
- Manage the company’s cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs.
- Oversee fundraising activities including raising equity, securing financing, and managing investor relations.
- Ensure optimal capital structure and cost of capital for business expansion.
- Oversee preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and statutory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure transparent reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, investors, and strategic partners.
- Negotiate financing arrangements and manage banking facilities.
- Act as a financial advisor to the Board and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the finance team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial operations.
- Implement systems and processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and risk management.
- Support business development initiatives and M&A opportunities from a financial perspective.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with a strong financial background.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a technology, ERP, or SaaS-based environment.
- Proven experience in fundraising, equity financing, and investor relations.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
