Job Description
We are hiring a Planning Engineer on behalf of our client company.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track all construction activities, ensuring they align with the project work plan and timeline.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) department to review and approve completed works, ensuring they meet specified standards.
- Process and manage all engineering-related documents, including project plans, reports and change orders.
- Prepare and present regular progress updates and status reports on construction works to the General Manager.
- Liaise and collaborate with the HSE Engineer, QA/QC Engineer and EQR Inspectors to ensure on-site execution work complies with all safety, quality and regulatory standards.
- Identify potential project delays and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure or real estate development projects.
- Proven experience with project planning and scheduling software.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles. particularly in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills to effectively liaise with various teams and external parties.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications for a variety of building types, including high-rise commercial and residential structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
