Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Engineer - Datacom, on behalf of our client company.

The selected candidate is responsible for end-to-end delivery of FBB projects, including planning implementation, integration, optimization and handover. The role requires strong technical expertise in fixed network solutions, ability to lead project independently with minimal supervision, effective stakeholder management etc.

Responsibilities:

• Familiar with Datacom technical principle include TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, TE, L2/L3 VPN, SRv6, VXLAN, EVPN, familiar with other Datacom NEs include Core Network (PS, CS, HSS), wireless 2G/3G/4G, etc.
• Have experience in IPCORE/IPRAN network maintenance.
• Have experience in NMS and Linux system.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of fixed network solutions.
• Perform network design review, solution validation and technical feasibility analysis.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, best practises and customer requirements.
• Prepare network design for implementation and MOP for live network work.
• To analyse network performance, resolve complex network problems and optimize network architecture.
• Prepare LLD, MOP and test reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior engineers.
• Take full ownership of assigned projects delivering solutions with minimal supervision.
• Act as technical lead for FBB projects in assigned customer accounts.
• Plan and manage project activities, timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with customers, internal teams and third-party teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support presales and solution discussion when required.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and technical capabilities.
• Able to communication work independence with customer.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering / Computer Science CCNP / HCIP is preferable.
• CCIE / HCIE will be added advantage.
• Understanding of TCP/IP stack and basics of Data Communication.
• Strong knowledge of company FBB products.
• In depth understanding of GPON, VLAN, QoS, IP routing & multicast etc.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience.
