We are hiring a Core Network Engineer, on behalf of our client.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Handle onsite survey, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Core network equipment.
• Support network and space development, system acceptance test criteria and performance applications.
• Extend technical support to customers through remote and on-site troubleshooting.
• Basic configuration of data network equipment.
• Remote support of on-site engineers and end users / customers during installation.
• Offer technical solutions on Core network products.
• Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
• Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom).
• Core products E2E analysis and troubleshooting including call trace.
• Troubleshooting of Core products problematic calls via Wireshark or similar tools for trace analysis.
• Customer Management Experience (Experience leading the projects).
• PS & CS & Volte optimization Experience.
• Troubleshooting of CS, IMS, PS.
• Execute firmware updates and hardware upgrades for network elements (NEs), controllers, and routers.
• Monitor network alarms, network KPI and network health using tools.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support to resolve complex wireless network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Customer Management Experience (Experience leading the projects).
• Maintenance & Engineering project delivery , provide technical support on core network.
• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance schedules of assigned network zones.
• Proven experience in project management and CAPEX planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configuration changes, and maintenance logs.
• Manage trouble tickets to ensure timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Adhere to organizational change management processes during all network upgrades and configurations.
• Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly in English to internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and maintenance logs in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP standards and protocols (e.g., GTP, SCTP, Diameter, HTTP/2).
• Hands-on experience with core network elements (e.g., MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, DNS).
• Basic scripting (Python/Bash) for automation.
• 1+ years of experience in mobile core network planning or engineering.
