Job Description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with 5+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in web-based product design, a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to transform complex requirements into intuitive and elegant user experiences.

You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design scalable interfaces that enhance usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for web products—from user research and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity visual design.
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging interfaces aligned with modern web design standards.
• Develop user journeys, personas, sitemaps, interaction flows, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless design implementation.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
• Use data-driven insights to improve UX across the product lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs follow accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, frameworks, and UX methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in web product environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design, interaction design, and user research work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience working with design systems and component-based design approaches.
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities, web performance, and technical constraints.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with practical, user-centered problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in designing SaaS applications, dashboards, or enterprise web platforms.
• Knowledge of motion design, micro-interactions, and prototyping tools like Principle or After Effects.
• Understanding of front-end development workflows or collaboration in agile environments.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, GA4, Mixpanel) for UX optimization.
• Ability to work in a startup environment.
