Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Network Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their technical skills while working with real-world network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and modern enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily network performance and service availability.
• Troubleshoot network incidents, outages, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
• Assist with LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet services.
• Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain network documentation and asset records.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve faults.
• Support backup and disaster recovery activities.
• Participate in rostered after-hours support if required.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in network support or network engineering.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Exposure to Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, GPON, or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage tasks and priorities effectively.
• Experience in service provisioning and customer connectivity support.
