Job Description

We are hiring a Technical Foreman Plant and Building on behalf of our client company.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise and execute mechanical, civil and electrical maintenance of plants and buildings.
• Ensure continuous and reliable supply of utilities (Electricity, Compressed air, HVAC).
• Diagnose technical faults and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead maintenance teams and coordinate with production and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance performance and reliability.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance history records and analyze the trends.
• Maintain compliance with safety, cleanliness, and proper organization of the workshop area.
• Creating BOQ and make purchase requests for engineering materials.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical or Civil Engineering (NVQ Level 5).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant and building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCad, MS Office Package (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP.
• Knowledge in Lean and TPM will be added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication in English and Sinhala.
