Job Description
We are hiring a technical store keeper on behalf of our client company.
Responsibilities:
- Receive goods and materials in compliance with company procedures.
- Create and post Goods Received Notes (GRN) accurately in SAP and RASIO.
- Issue materials and spare parts to relevant departments in a timely manner.
- Maintain correct stock balances both physically and in SAP.
- Monitor reorder levels, raise purchase requisitions where required, and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all store transactions. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the stores area.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and finance departments for smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Passed G.C.E A/L and Diploma in Inventory Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a similar role (experience in technical/engineering stores is an advantage.
- Good knowledge in SAP (materials management).
- Proficiency in MS Office Package (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication in English and Sinhala.
