Job Description

We are hiring a Microwave Engineer on behalf of our client company.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and review Microwave (MW) Link Designs, including Link Budget calculations, High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Handle new MW Link commissioning and acceptance of link according to Link Budget.
• Execute version upgrade for MW links.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on microwave equipment based on network alarms and health-check reports to minimize network downtime.
• Monitor network alarms, KPIs, and overall network health through the Microwave Network Management System (NMS) to ensure optimal performance
• Provide Level-2 and Level-3 technical support for complex microwave network issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee daily network operations during project rollouts and planned maintenance activities to ensure smooth execution and service continuity.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractor teams, providing technical guidance and supervision during on-site commissioning and integration of MW links.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configuration changes, and maintenance logs.
• Manage trouble tickets to ensure timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure compliance with organizational change management procedures and approval processes during all network implementation, upgrade, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly in English to internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and maintenance logs in English.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or Higher Diploma in Telecommunications
• Deep Understanding of microwave transmission principles and microwave equipment.
• Strong knowledge in microwave delivery process and microwave project management and should have hands on delivery experience.
• Experience in company MW Products will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience Microwave commissioning and maintenance.
