Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solution Manager with strong experience in Data Communication and the willingness to expand expertise across cross-domain technologies such as Data Center solutions, Optical Communication, and Collaboration platforms. This role requires a forward-looking professional who is open-minded, eager to learn, and capable of engaging in high-level discussions with customers and stakeholders. The Solution Manager will also act as an Industry Solution Lead, responsible for shaping and managing the overall solution portfolio to meet evolving customer and market needs.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Leadership: Lead or participate in the design of advanced solutions across data communication and adjacent domains (data center, optical, collaboration), ensuring technical and commercial competitiveness.
- Cross-Domain Expertise: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn and apply knowledge in multiple ICT domains to deliver integrated solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise and government levels; engage in high-level discussions to guide technology strategies and build strong rapport.
- Industry Solution Leadership: Take ownership as an industry solution lead, managing the end-to-end solution portfolio and aligning it with customer requirements and market trends.
- Market Insight & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and influence solution direction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical experts and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions that meet customer and business objectives.
- Public Speaking & Advocacy: Represent the company in presentations, industry forums, exhibitions, and customer workshops to promote and position solutions effectively.
- Project Leadership: Drive the solution design and delivery for assigned projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related field).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the ICT domain, with strong expertise in Data Communication and exposure or willingness to develop in Data Center, Optical, and Collaboration solutions.
- Vendor Certification: Certifications from reputed vendors in relevant technologies are a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of ICT system architecture and solution integration across multiple domains.
- Customer Focused: Proven ability to understand customer requirements, advise on technology selection, and align solutions to business objectives.
- Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead discussions with CXOs, industry professionals, and government stakeholders while driving consensus and trust.
- Industry Insight: Familiarity with digitalization trends, customer transformation journeys, and competitive landscapes in ICT.
