Job Description
We are hiring a Finance Manager on behalf of our client company.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Develop budgets and forecasts for projects and the company overall, ensuring alignment with strategic goals as per the guidelines of GCFO.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor inflows and outflows, manage retainage, progress payments and overbilling to maintain liquidity.
- Job Costing: Track costs at the project level, ensuring accurate allocation of labour, materials and overhead.
- Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks such as cost overruns, delays or client defaults and propose mitigation strategies.
- Compliance & Reporting: Prepare financial statements, ensure adherence to tax laws, labor regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and a fully completed professional qualification/passed finalist in Finance.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CMA, or CIMA are highly valued.
- ERP Systems, advanced Excel and financial modeling.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail and communication across diverse teams.
