Job Description
The Manager/ Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand the company’s market presence, acquire new customers, and enhance client relationships. This role involves understanding market trends, promoting services, achieving revenue targets, and supporting the overall sales and marketing objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
- Identify and secure business from key market segments including importers, exporters, and supply chain operators.
- Promote the full range of freight forwarding services and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements, achieve sales targets, and maintain CRM records with reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4–8 years of experience in sales/marketing in shipping/ freight forwarding / NVOCC and logistics industry.
- Technical Expertise: Good knowledge of international trade, shipping documents, Incoterms, and logistics.
- Target Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership & communication: Experience in leading sales teams, working with cross-functional teams, and effectively communicating across different levels of an organization.
